Eric James at The Midnight Project

Hey Midnighters,

This week’s episode of The Midnight Project brings a powerful wave of sound straight from Hamilton, Ontario, as we welcome Canadian DJ and producer Eric James. Known for his dark, emotional style and relentless energy, Eric steps into the spotlight with a guest mix that reflects exactly where he is right now—focused, fearless, and fully immersed in the craft.

After years of building his identity through intense live sets and deep studio work, Eric is now moving into a new era. His latest productions are darker, more refined, and emotionally charged. You’ll hear it in this mix. From the first beat to the final moment, he takes us into a world where gritty textures meet cinematic melodies, and every transition tells part of a larger story.

This is a set built for the night. It's loaded with Eric’s own music, including unreleased material that captures the raw edge of his current sound: no distractions, no branding, just pure techno for those who crave something more profound.
