The Patrick Madrid Show: August 01, 2024 - Hour 2

Patrick examines profound insights on the concept of the "Ape of the Church," discussed by Archbishop Fulton Sheen and echoed by several saints and popes. He explores how this idea of a counter-church mimicking the true church could manifest, and what the response should be. Remember, while these prophecies are essential to acknowledge, faith and trust in Jesus are paramount. Nick (email) – I think the confirmation age is too high. (00:39) Tyler - Why has the Catholic Church been so polite with its dealings with things like the Olympics? (08:02) *Joe - Would we be able to recognize the Ape of the Church that Fulton Sheen talked about? (19:59) Barbara - Can I have an internet service if they support planned parenthood? (28:30) Mary Beth - I don't think the Bishops are shy about the Olympics because of sex abuse scandals. I think the Vatican has been quiet. (34:59) Ted - Has the pope addressed any of the sacrilege that has gone on with the Olympics? (41:34) Cindy - I went to confession and it is an uncomfortable experience with the priest. He doesn't acknowledge anything and just gives me the absolution. He seems angry. What should I do? (47:16)
