BATTLE: Penn State PUSHES to Sign Peter Bourque—Virginia Tech’s NIL Power Could CHANGE Everything

Penn State and Virginia Tech ignite a recruiting rivalry as 2027 quarterback Peter Bourque weighs offers that could reshape both programs’ futures. Is Matt Campbell poised to land his quarterback of the future, or will James Franklin outmaneuver his former team in a personal battle for top talent?

Zach Seyko and Brian Smith break down the latest on Bourque’s recruitment, Penn State’s pursuit of Will Menscl, and the strategic offer to sleeper QB Will Wood. They assess Penn State’s surging recruiting momentum—nearly a dozen commits in April—and spotlight key additions like Kei’shjuan Telfair, Landon Blum, and Cooper Terwilliger. With quarterback room uncertainty looming and NIL factors influencing decisions, this episode explores whether Penn State can solidify its path to national contender status or if the Hokies’ resurgence under Franklin changes the Big Ten landscape.
