GROUNDBREAKING: Notre Dame Fighting Irish CHANGE College Football Recruiting With NEW NIL Approach

Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame’s approach to NIL has been different than some other college football powers. More money to retain top Irish players and secure college transfers that have proven their worth. With the addition of former Detroit Lions Director of Scouting Advancement Mike Martin to be its new General Manager. Locked On Irish host Tyler Wojciak and I discuss Martin’s key decisions for future NIL allotment, including whether to spend big with high school defensive line recruits. There’s also excitement with the retention of Mike Mickens and how he recruits, and adding elite recruiter and former Penn State coach Ja’Juan Seider to the Irish coaching staff.
