The Oz Curse: From Yellow Brick Road to Wicked Witches

Can movies be cursed—even the ones we grew up loving? In this episode, we go far beyond ruby slippers and show tunes to uncover the dark legacy behind The Wizard of Oz and its modern counterpart, Wicked. From the brutal realities of 1939 Hollywood—toxic makeup, asbestos snow, fires, amphetamines, and life-altering injuries—to the intense physical, emotional, and spiritual toll surrounding the 2024/2025 Wicked productions, we explore whether the world of Oz carries a curse that transcends generations. Drawing from firsthand accounts, studio records, and modern conspiracies involving method acting, identity “erasure,” occult symbolism, and extreme transformation, this episode asks a chilling question: what does it really cost to bring Oz to life? Follow me down the rabbit hole as we examine whether this is just the price of Hollywood magic—or something far darker. www.stayskeptical.com Watch: https://rumble.com/user/rabbitholepodcast https://www.youtube.com/@Rabbit.holepodcast Wise Wolf Gold: https://www.wolfpack.gold/?ref=jvujkwgs Sources: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jcwvgWpPz8GqLxNwpeJM7AHqBJL2O3JWVdE8ggKK7_8/edit?usp=sharing Learn more about your ad choices.
