The American Soil Problem - Pastor Dave Gibson

Why does the same truth produce such different results in people’s lives? In this sermon, Pastor Dave Gibson explores Jesus’ parable of the soils and what it reveals about the condition of our hearts—especially in today’s culture.

Some hear the truth and reject it. Others receive it quickly but fall away. Some are distracted and choked by the cares of life. And a few truly receive it and bear fruit. This message challenges us to examine the “soil” of our own hearts and consider whether we’ve become hardened, shallow, or distracted—and what it looks like to become good soil.

This isn’t just a personal question—it’s a cultural one. What kind of soil are we becoming?
