Performance of nothingness

Jimbo, Daniel Storey, Dan Bardell and Colin Millar are on the spot to review and preview all the Premier League action.

Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Man United are all victorious thanks to penalties. Are Jurgen Klopp’s side the best in the country at the top of their game? And how much of a difference does Thiago make?

Conversely, are Southampton the worst team in the league on their day? And could Claudio Ranieri’s reign at Watford come to an end at Turf Moor this week?

Plus a journey from Plymouth to Sunderland, accents, parachuting Santas and Manuel Pellegrini’s revival of Real Betis.
