AFTER DARK | The Burning Sisters: The Mysterious Deaths of Amy and Alice Kirby | Spontaneous Combustion?

This episode contains references to the sudden deaths of children under mysterious circumstances. While not graphic, the content may be distressing to some listeners. Discretion is advised.

In 1899, in the Yorkshire town of Sowerby Bridge, two young sisters, Amy and Alice Kirby, died just hours apart after mysteriously bursting into flames in separate homes. Their identical, unexplained fates sparked speculation about spontaneous human combustion and left behind more questions than answers.
