This text is a transcript of a Pasadena City Council meeting held on November 18, 2025, which opens with an invocation, the pledges, and Council Member reports on community initiatives like food drives and minor infrastructure completion. The proceedings include debate and votes on various ordinances and resolutions concerning contracts, budget, and amendments, with some disagreement over issues like cost of living increases and funding cuts. A significant portion of the meeting is dedicated to public comment, where citizens express gratitude but also strongly criticize the mayor and police department over alleged corruption, abuse of power, and specific, sensitive issues like past murders and police conduct. The meeting also features a detailed presentation by State Senator Carol Alvarado providing a legislative update on recently passed Texas bills regarding the state budget, criminal justice, public education, and property tax relief. https://thinkandactlocally.com/donate/ https://thinkandactlocally.myshopify.com/ Youtube - @ThinkandActLocally www.youtube.com/@ThinkandActLocally Facebook - @thinkandactlocally www.facebook.com/thinkandactlocally TikTok - @thinkandactlocally www.tiktok.com/@thinkandactlocally Instagram - @thinkandactlocally www.instagram.com/thinkandactlocally Truth Social - @thinkandactlocally Rumble - @ThinkandActLocally X- @ThinkActLocally www.twitter.com/ThinkActLocally LinkedIn - @think-and-act-locally www.linkedin.com/company/think-and-act-locally https://open.spotify.com/show/601vtPzxdHl82EM42Hsulf?si=05017b5b0ace4edc
