Morning Manna - September 10, 2025 - Proverbs 11:12-16 - The Wisdom of Grace, Counsel, and Restraint

In today’s Morning Manna, we explore Proverbs 11:12–16, where Solomon contrasts the folly of despising neighbors with the wisdom of silence, the destruction of talebearing with the safety of discretion, and the downfall of solitary pride with the blessing of shared counsel. We learn why reckless pledges bring ruin while prudence brings peace, and how true honor is won not by strength or riches, but by gracious character. These verses remind us that Godly wisdom shapes not only our speech and decisions, but also our reputation and legacy. Teachers: Rick Wiles and Doc Burkhart
