Ariana Ptarcinski

On Christmas Day in 2021, 18-year-old Ariana Ptarcinski suffered a fatal stab wound at her family’s home in Spring Hill, Florida. She died the following day. Her death was ruled a homicide, but in August 2023, prosecutors declined to file criminal charges, citing what they described as insufficient evidence of criminal intent.  For this bonus episode of Voices for Justice, I’m joined by Aaron from the Generation Why podcast. Aaron has been speaking with Ariana’s father, Ed, and takes the lead as we discuss the circumstances surrounding her death, the questions her family has raised about the investigation, and their efforts to get justice. Ariana was a talented artist, a recent high school graduate, and a young woman making plans for her future. Her story deserves to be heard, and her family shouldn’t have to fight for answers alone.  Please share this episode to help raise awareness.
