WKPWP Interview Classics: Interviews with Colt Cabana and Jimmy Rave talking AEW, indy scenes, podcasting, more

In this week’s Interview Classic from ten years ago (10-27-2016), PWTorch editor Wade Keller talks live with Colt Cabana. They talk about his new documentary, “The Wrestling Road Diaries 3: Comedy Equals Money,” the making of it and the previous two including the filming process and editing progress, the rise of wrestler-hosted podcasts and his influence as a pioneer in that category, his finding of a balance between comedy and serious wrestling when he works indy shows, looking back at ROH and why his return to ROH has brought back something he missed about pro wrestling, what secrets wrestlers still like to keep, a funny WWE story regarding social media, the end of Vine, and more.

Then we jump back 15 years (11-2-2011) to PWTorch columnist Pat McNeill's interview with Jimmy Rave. They discuss with live callers Rave's wrestling career through TNA and ROH and other promotions, the locker room environment in TNA vs. ROH, various TNA gimmicks he's gone through, his future in wrestling, his current personal life, and more. In the previously VIP-exclusive Aftershow, McNeill and PWTorch assistant editor James Caldwell finish off the Live Events Center, look into the McNeill Mailbag for questions ranging from Lazertron to AWA SuperClash, and review some of the news of the week.
