Born: January 1, 1982 in Sendai
Meet the trailblazing Chicago-based electronic musician who left an indelible mark on the footwork genre - a genre he helped shape as the founder of the influential Teklife crew. With his critically acclaimed debut studio album Double Cup, released on Hyperdub in 2013, he solidified his position as a visionary in the music world. Unfortunately, his life was cut short in April 2014 due to a tragic drug overdose.
