Hailing from the Los Angeles area, this influential heavy metal band has been shaping the sound of modern rock since its formation in Glendale, California in 1994. With a lineup that has evolved over the years, the core trio of Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, and Shavo Odadjian has remained a constant force, joined by drummer John Dolmayan who brought a new dynamic to the group in the late 1990s.
