#178 - Discipline and Compassion 🔥

There are times when you must practice discipline 👑

And there are times when you must practice compassion ❤️

In my 7 years of entrepreneurship I've found this to be one of the fundamental truths of playing the long game.

See most entrepreneurs live on EITHER END of the scale:

Too much DISCIPLINE without COMPASSION will lead to burnout - the worst of it being so bad that even looking at your phone gives you anxiety.

Too much COMPASSION without DISCIPLINE and nothing gets done - because you're so focused on how you feel that you never put your head down and get to work.

The long game is understanding that it's a paradox - and that you'll constantly be balancing discipline and compassion.

Which means knowing that sometimes it's okay to take a day off.

And it also means that sometimes you have to put to put your head down and grind even when you don't feel like it 👑 #DOMINATE
