Caleb Flynn and JP Miller — A Former Pastor on How Faith Let Both Get Away With It

Timmy Gibson served as an evangelical pastor for three decades, traveled as a healing evangelist, and ran his own church before leaving the faith entirely. On the first Homicide Happy Hour, he brought that history to Caleb Flynn and JP Miller. Flynn was convicted on all nine counts in Ashley Flynn's murder and sentenced to life without parole. Miller faces federal charges for cyberstalking and making false statements. He has pleaded not guilty and is not charged in Mica Miller's death. Gibson says Flynn's affair made him feel closer to God through false humility. He says Miller allegedly used sermons to tell his congregation that wives who don't meet their husbands' needs will be replaced. Gibson called Miller a cult leader and confirmed it with psychotherapist Shavaun Scott. Every minister he knew lied on their licensing form because truth meant losing your career.
