Contradiction in the Jury Room: Holdout Claims Certainty, Foreperson Claims Deception

Michael Desronvil was the one juror who voted to convict Lindsay Clancy. Eleven voted to acquit. After the mistrial, his dropped domestic violence charge and active restraining order went public. Within a month his arrest was on television, the defense wanted his phone records, and his lawyer said he'd been moved to an undisclosed location. Desronvil told Fox News he never wavered. The foreperson says he admitted having reasonable doubt and voted guilty anyway. Judge Sullivan denied every defense request on October 21st. The double jeopardy motion gets argued November 2nd. Patrick Clancy has forgiven Lindsay, remarried, and is starting a family. DA Cruz won't say if he's retrying. If you were the next juror who disagreed with the other eleven, would you hold out — knowing what happened to this one?
