The Mind of Gypsy Rose | Part 3: She Joked About Murder Before Ken Urker Died
In March 2026, Gypsy Rose Blanchard appeared in a TikTok joking about murder. In August, leaked prison recordings surfaced — calls from 2020 and 2021 where she told a friend she hoped Ken Urker would overdose. Ken was publicly humiliated. He started sleeping with a gun. By September, the relationship had ended. On October 1, 2026 — his thirty-fourth birthday — Ken Urker was found dead with drug paraphernalia at the scene. A cause of death is pending. Thirteen days later, Gypsy was on Instagram. Before the recordings, the media tour had already established the brand: Good Morning America, CNN, The View, a Lifetime deal, a memoir, the Kardashians, and a podcast appearance where she said she doesn't associate herself as a murderer. Part three of the series covers the release, the brand, and the man who died in the wake of it.
