Undercover cop with a death wish: Todd Maguire Pt.1

At just 25 years of age, Queensland police officer Todd Maguire woke up to discover the love of his life had taken her own life. Shattered and searching for a way to escape the pain, Todd threw himself into the dangerous world of undercover policing, and became someone else entirely.

Enter Donny: reckless, fearless, and fully immersed in a criminal underworld of drugs, violence, and volatility, where one wrong word or one wrong look could get you killed.

In this episode of I Catch Killers, Gary Jubelin sits down with Todd to unpack a story of profound loss, reinvention, and survival. Todd opens up about the moment he found his partner's body, the brutal reality of life undercover, and how deeply he lost himself in his alter ego.
