DILEMMA: Should Texas SHAKE UP the OL After Goosby's Injury - Is Cojoe the Answer? | Texas Football

Texas Longhorns face a pivotal decision on their offensive line after Trevor Goosby's season-ending injury. Can Andre Cojoe anchor the left tackle spot, or should the unit be reshuffled to unlock better protection for Arch Manning? The conversation focused on Texas’ options, weighing continuity against experimentation as the team prepares to host Mississippi State in a historic Halloween night clash. Several points were raised, including Melvin Siani’s experience at left tackle, Brandon Baker’s potential move back to right tackle, and the need for quick adjustments before critical SEC road games against Missouri and LSU. The discussion explored whether Texas should play it safe or take advantage of a weaker opponent to discover their best five up front. With the Longhorns’ playoff hopes on the line and offensive line struggles persisting, the pressure mounts for Steve Sarkisian and Kyle Flood to make the right call. Thanks for tuning in!
