Is Auburn Actually On Track? Alex Golesh Year 1 Reality Check | Auburn Football Podcast
Auburn sits at 4-3 after a roller coaster first half of the Alex Golesh era, and the fan base is loud. On this edition of The Midweek Report, we go back to what fans actually expected coming into the season and ask how far off Auburn really is. One week this team beat No. 1 Georgia between the hedges, the biggest win since 2017. Then it got dog walked by LSU. We get into the “fire Golesh” talk, why the run game and offensive line have taken steps backward, and who’s responsible for the portal evaluation misses. We also cover how Kentucky outbid Auburn for linemen, NIL money and roster “cap” management, what Auburn spends at QB after Byron Brown, the receivers and Elijah Melendez as bright spots, and our Ole Miss outlook.
