USC sophomore guard Alijah Arenas is one of the most intriguing scorers in college basketball, and on this episode of Locked On NBA Draft we break down his game. The former five-star guard returned from knee surgery last season, put up 14.1 points per game in the 14 games he played, and had several 20-point performances down the stretch before deciding to return to USC. We get into his offense, his defense, and what he needs to show this season. We also dig into NBA comparisons to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kevin Martin, and Tim Thomas. Which one does he look like most? How much of his game is built on smooth, deliberate shot creation and drawing fouls, and what does his shooting efficiency need to look like for him to become a real NBA prospect? We also talk about where he could land on draft boards. Subscribe to Locked On NBA Draft for daily prospect breakdowns, scouting reports, and draft coverage from the No Ceilings team.
