Steelers' Free Agent Priorities After Bengals Franchise Tag Tee Higgins | Chris Godwin/Byron Murphy?

Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast, and Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com. The Pittsburgh Steelers could be big players in NFL free agency in March, but Tee Higgins is off the market after the Cincinnati Bengals plan to franchise tag their star receiver. Christopher Carter and Nick Farabaugh discuss the top targets they expect to be on the market for the Steelers to sign to their roster, like Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Chris Godwin and Minnesota Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy. Also, Chris and Nick answer questions from callers on the Locked on Steelers call-in line, including if George Pickens should be traded for picks in the 2026 NFL Draft that could get the Steelers draft picks to help them trade up for a quarterback next year. Finally, they also answer a question about how Stephon Tuitt's retirement still impacts the team to this day, and highlights again why the Steelers' need for defensive tackles is a paramount concern.
