Houston Texans Woody Marks Is Ready to EXPLODE in Passing Game + CJ Stroud More COMMANDING!

The Houston Texans are starting to show us exactly what this team could look like in 2026—and there are some developments you need to know about. On this episode of Locked On Texans, I go one-on-one with Woody Marks about the work he put in this offseason to become faster, quicker and more explosive, plus the expectation that his role could expand significantly—especially in the passing game. Marks also gives us an interesting look at C.J. Stroud, and the biggest difference he's noticed from the Texans quarterback this year: “He’s talking more.” And that's just the beginning. I break down the Houston Texans training camp battles that deserve your attention, including why Will Anderson Jr. and Houston's edge rushers have been giving Josh Ersery problems in pass-rushing situations. Ersery has had a rough stretch, but I explain why I believe this is a fixable issue and what he needs to do to get himself back on track. Plus, should Texans fans be prepared to see Lewis Bond emerge as Houston's WR4? The Texans' unofficial depth chart is out, and while there aren't many surprises for me, it does shine a spotlight on several players fighting for roster spots who desperately need a strong preseason. Texans training camp. Woody Marks. C.J. Stroud. Will Anderson Jr. Josh Ersery. Lewis Bond. WR4 battle. Preseason roster battles. It's all here.
