From Started from the Bottom: How Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall Made NBA History

Here’s a special episode from another podcast I’ve been enjoying and think you will, too. On Started from the Bottom, host Justin Richmond interviews people with humble origins who managed to scale the summit of success – people who grew up on the outside, people of color, people who weren’t part of the old boys’ network. Justin recently sat down with Cynt Marshall, CEO of the Dallas Mavericks. Cynt made NBA history when she became the first Black woman to lead an NBA team. In this episode, she takes Justin on her life's journey: surviving domestic violence, a 40-year career at AT&T, and getting a call from Mark Cuban to take over the Mavs. Hear more from Started from the Bottom at apple.co/thebottom.
