Trillion Energy rebrands as Dune Oil Corp. to focus on oil growth

Trillion Energy International President Scott Lower joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company's official name change, marking a strategic shift toward oil exploration and development. Lower said the company will now trade under the symbol "DUNE" on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE). The rebranding reflects management's renewed focus on oil opportunities and represents a new strategic direction for the company. The name change does not affect shareholders' rights. No share consolidation will occur, and existing share certificates remain valid, meaning shareholders are not required to take any action. The company also provided an update on its financing activities, completing a previously announced non-brokered private placement that raised CAD$154,500 and settling approximately CAD$168,085 in outstanding debt through the issuance of 1,120,569 units. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of a share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable at CAD$0.25 for one year. Lower said proceeds from the financing will support contractual work commitments on the M47 Concession, where the company has already invested approximately US$800,000 toward its exploration obligations.
