A Trio of Elimination Games & Roki Sasaki is Right on Time

From Rates & Barrels: A show about Baseball The Athletic

Eno and DVR discuss the Guardians' eighth-inning eruption and how they might be a lineup with an approach that doesn't perfectly align with their tools. Plus, they wonder how the Padres will deploy their excellent bullpen after using a few key arms on consecutive days to draw level with the Cubs, the Yankees-Red Sox series unsurprisingly going to the three-game Wild Card Round max, Roki Sasaki landing in the Dodgers' bullpen at the exact right time, and the curious pitching plan employed by the Reds, especially in Wednesday's elimination game.
