Aaron Rodgers to the Jets is a Bad Idea, NFC and AFC Championship Previews + VSiN host Michael Lombardi

On today's episode, Jason gets the party started by sharing his thoughts on his beloved New York Jets' decision to hire Nathaniel Hackett to be their next offensive coordinator. Presumably, the move was made with the intention of recruiting Aaron Rodgers to the Jets since the two worked together in Green Bay for three seasons. However, any realistic sports fan who can spot the forest through the trees will tell you that this is a bad idea - for a number of reasons. Later, Super Bowl winning NFL executive and VSiN host Michael Lombardi swings by to discuss the impact Patrick Mahomes’ ankle injury could have on the game, how he expects the Cincinnati Bengals to defend the high-octane Kansas City Chiefs offense, why the Chiefs defense is going to have to be more selective with their blitz package against Joe Burrow, what makes Kyle Shanahan and Andy Reid different from Nick Sirianni and Zac Taylor, why he’s uncertain that Brock Purdy or Jalen Hurt will be able to pull out a win if the opposing team gets out to a big early lead, why he expects the 49ers will have to play much better offensively than they did against Dallas to beat the Eagles, why he’s not surprised to hear that the Cowboys might be looking to move off offensive coordinator Kellen Moore and much more! Finally, J-Mac closes the show with a very special NFL Championship Weekend edition of the Best Bet.
