An Underwhelming Eagles Win, Kyrie's Half-Hearted Apology + Professional sports bettor Bill Krackomberger

On today's episode, Jason gets the party started with a few quick thoughts on the Philadelphia Eagles' underwhelming Thursday Night Football victory over the Houston Texans. Philly mostly sleepwalked through the game and did just enough to get the win... but not quite enough to cover the spread. Plus, our fearless leader discusses Kyrie Irving's Instagram apology in the wake of the backlash (and eventual suspension) stemming from his social media promotion of an anti-Semitic documentary. It's clear that Kyrie only apologized because the Brooklyn Nets hit him in the wallet. Moreover, if Irving is really going to miss at least the next 5 games, does anybody really think things are going to get better for Brooklyn on the court? Later, professional sports bettor and FOX Sports Radio weekend host Bill Krackomberger swings by to discuss why he’s always preferred betting NFL totals and futures rather than sides, why it’s a smart play long-term to take double-digit underdogs against the spread, the importance of getting in early on gambling lines you like rather than waiting until the day or two before a game, why it’s not unusual for big bettors such as himself to move gambling lines, why professional betting syndicates have been unable to make a ton of money through the first half of the NFL season, and much more! Finally, J-Mac closes the show with the NFL Week 9 edition of the Best Bet.
