Kevin Durant Takes Rare 'L' in Player Empowerment Era + ESPN Senior Writer Seth Wickersham

On today's episode, Jason gets the party started with a few quick thoughts on Kevin Durant's decision to rescind his trade demand and return to the Brooklyn Nets. During the Player Empowerment Era, every single disgruntled superstar (James Harden, Anthony Davis, Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Ben Simmons, etc.) who wanted out has succeed...until now. Is this a sign of things to come? More importantly, are we even sure that these Nets as constructed with KD and Kyrie Irving leading the way are legitimate championship contenders? Later, ESPN senior writer Seth Wickersham swings by to discuss the 'tormented' genius that is Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay, why the McVay Coaching Tree has been so fruitful where others have not, the chances that McVay eventually surpasses Bill Belichick as the greatest coach in NFL history, the New England Patriots' history of cheating scandals, how Belichick has made a living operating within the gray areas of the rule book, and much more!
