Straight Fire w/ Jason McIntyre - Dodgers Still Run the NL West + College Football analyst Phil Steele

On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a quick thought on the Los Angeles Dodgers' weekend sweep of the San Diego Padres. When San Diego acquired Juan Soto at the trade deadline, the running narrative was that the Pads were at least on par with the Dodgers; the lie detector determined that was a line. The NL West - and the the National League as a whole - still runs through Los Angeles. Later, publisher of Phil Steele’s College Football Preview magazine and college football analyst Phil Steele swings by to discuss why he believes Alabama and Ohio State should be viewed as heavy favorites to make the College Football Playoff, why he views Utah as a dark horse national championship contender, why we can expect Michigan State to be the top-10 team that takes the biggest step back in 2022, how the transfer portal has re-shaped teams like Alabama and USC, why Oklahoma’s Dillon Gabriel and Alabama’s Will Anderson are two long-shot Heisman candidates that could pay off big, and much more!
