Straight Fire w/ Jason McIntyre - Rams Lay an Egg on Opening Night, NFL Week 1 Best Bets + Supercontest winner David Baker

On today's episode, Jason and Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) get the party started by sharing a few thoughts on the Buffalo Bills' bludgeoning of the Los Angeles Rams on opening night. Josh Allen and the Bills were as advertised, but the big story here was how bad the Rams looked. Matthew Stafford couldn't stop turning the ball over, Jalen Ramsey kept getting cooked and the offensive line couldn't block anybody. It's only Week 1 so it's too early to hit the panic button, but it's clear Los Angeles has some serious problems. Later, professional sports bettor and 2020 Supercontest winner David Baker swings by to discuss why he likes the Cincinnati Bengals this week both against the spread and in survivor against the Pittsburgh Steelers, why he’s high on the Indianapolis Colts as a season-long play, why he bet on the Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFC East so early in the offseason, why he’s more confident in Jameis Winston and the New Orleans Saints offense than most, why he believes Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos are easily the worst team in the AFC West – and conversely is very high on the Las Vegas Raiders, what makes the Minnesota Vikings a dark horse Super Bowl contender, and much more! Finally, J-Mac closes the show by sharing his Best Bets for the college football slate and Week 1 of the NFL season.
