The Lakers Blow Another One + Professional sports bettor Preston Johnson

On today’s episode, Jason gets the party started by sharing his thoughts on the Boston Celtics’ wild win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers looked dead to rights in the third, stormed back to take a big lead late in the fourth… only to blow it in the final minutes and eventually lose in overtime to Jayson Tatum and Co. This has become something of a trend for LeBron James and Anthony Davis as it is at least the third time this season that Los Angeles has fumbled a game in the final seconds of regulation. Tough night for the Purple & Gold. Later, professional sports bettor Preston Johnson swings by to discuss the trials and tribulations of owning a soccer team abroad, the application of analytics, the latest World Cup happenings (Portugal benching Ronaldo, Messi leading Argentina to the World Cup Final, the future of US Soccer, etc.), the Los Angeles Clippers’ NBA championship odds, which NBA stars we’d trade for Victor Wembanyama and much more! Finally, J-Mac closes the show a very special edition of the Best Bet.
