A Mid-Weekend Update with Kevin Nealon

Kevin Nealon is telling stories about his Saturday Night Live days including the origin of Hanz & Franz, and the Subliminal Man, and how he landed the job as Weekend Update host. He talks about Chris Farley (and the infamous Chippendales sketch with Patrick Swayze), Phil Hartman, Adam Sandler, and David Spade. He explains how Dana Carvey helped him get the SNL gig, and how he managed to squeeze standup gigs in between the brutal SNL schedule. Kevin also talks about his love of drawing and caricatures, what inspired his new book “I Exaggerate: My Brushes with Fame,” and when we might see new episodes of his very funny YouTube series, “Hiking with Kevin.” Watch “Hiking With Kevin” – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0BfPXleDan8dMbel6-C89Q Purchase “I Exaggerate: My Brushes with Fame” – https://kevinnealon.com/book/ Thank you for supporting our sponsors!Brunt Workwear: Go to https://BruntWorkwear.com/TIJ and use code TIJ to get $10 off your first order plus free shipping and returns.Better Help: TIJ is sponsored by Better Help.
