He had spent much of his life behind bars. But, why did he snap that September day and kill his probation officer? Some have theorized that he knew he would fail his scheduled drug test. He murdered three people that day, carjacked and abducted people, and shot it out with the police. All of this occurred as he made his way from Indianapolis, Indiana to St. Louis, Missouri. But, police couldn't catch him, even after he crashed his car as they were chasing him. For eleven days, Jackson terrorized the small town of Wright City, MO as he hid outside of town.
