A Text Dispute Ends in Gunfire - Dwan Ross Interrogation

On May 28, 2024, barbershop owner Dwan Ross Jr. and neighboring business owner Trask C. Johnson were involved in a dispute in Inverness, Florida, that ended in Johnson’s death. In this police interrogation, Ross describes the events and tells detectives he acted in self-defense. Ross was later found guilty of second-degree murder with a firearm and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
